Midnight In Alaska, Prepared Like A Bride, Armada In The Dusk:
It was definantly cool to finally hit the fort, especially with these dudes. Brisbane has suck a mad scene, in my opinion, the Gold Coast has something to learn from places like this and Nambour.
Midnight In Alaskizzle:
Prepared Like A Brizzle:
These guys went off as usual, in my opinion but this set was especially fun. Rumond and I were joking around about not have a spare guitar of strings before hand. It was safe to say that this was murphy's law in action; Mikey snaps a string third song in but plays on like a beast, the lads in MIA lend a guitar so they are back on track. Literally, at the start of the fourth song, Rumond snaps the same string. Half the set is spent looking for another guitar before Mikey gets to mosh to his own 4 piece.
Armada In The Dizzle:
Their set hit me pretty hard to be honest.

Luke's shed - September 17th, 2010
Make or Break, Open Sea, Burn With Me:
Just a little get together. It was more a fuck around then a show but it was sick to see and hang with some cool bands with only friends.
Make or Break:
Their shit is actually cool, it was good to see some familiar faces.
Open Sea:
Their new song is sound phat as, they went off like I have never seen them actually.
Burn With Me:
Phat as, I'm digging the demo.
Everything in between:

Lismore: Northern River Sound - September 12th, 2010
Emerald Vale, The Ailment, The Bride, In Hearts Wake:
On the Beautiful summer like day of sunday the 12th, I took the pleasure of limping to Grady's. From there I took more pleasure in spending half of my fucking weekend in the back seat of a car. To Lismore...
Emerald Vale:
Minus faggot bassist. Shit was still heavy and tight. Have I mentioned their upcoming EP? It is going to be shweet and they start recording at the Byron Bay SAE in a matter of days.
Mid air crab, or 'crabbounce'
The Ailment:
They played a whole set of new shit, very heavy, very groovy. I spent most of the set watching Lloyd and listening to his fills.
The Bride:
The end of this set was when I realised that in the 5 times I had seen the Bride, I had never moshed in their set. They are just too short. But then again, short and sweet is their style.
In Hearts Wake:
Their half of the split with The Bride is so phat, I dig every song on that CD but In Hearts Wake has been on repeat!
School was fun on Monday. I felt like I had been hit by a train.
